  • Heavy rain warning in MP and Chhattisgarh; Orange alert in Jharkhand, danger is high in these districts

    Heavy rains have started once again in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. The Meteorological Department says that the weather will remain bad in Madhya Pradesh for the next 24 hours. Whereas in Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand the weather is going to be bad from October 3 to 4. According to the Meteorological Department, a yellow alert of heavy rain has been issued in four districts of Madhya Pradesh, while light to moderate rain can be recorded in Chhattisgarh. An ‘Orange Alert’ has been issued for extremely heavy rain in some parts of Jharkhand.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to the formation of a new system over the Bay of Bengal, the weather has worsened in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in some districts of Bhopal, Jabalpur, Indore, Ujjain and Sagar divisions of Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rain may occur in parts of Rewa, Sidhi, Anuppur and Singrauli districts of the state. There may be drizzle and thundershowers in Seoni, Katni, Balaghat, Chhindwara, Narmadapuram, Khargone, Khargone, Damoh, Panna and Betul and other parts of Madhya Pradesh.

    Chhattisgarh Weather Update: The weather will remain bad in Chhattisgarh also till October 3. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may occur in many districts of Chhattisgarh. There is also a possibility of lightning at some places. There may also be light rain with thunder in the state capital Raipur. The Meteorological Department says that there may be heavy rain with thunder in some parts of the state. There are chances of heavy rain in Chhattisgarh on October 3 also.

    Orange alert in Jharkhand
    Jharkhand Weather Forecast: Eight people have died in the last 24 hours due to heavy rain and lightning in Jharkhand. Continuous rain is being recorded in many parts of Jharkhand since Saturday evening. Many rivers are in spate due to heavy rains in the state. Ranchi Meteorological Center has issued an orange alert of heavy to very heavy rain in parts of Lohardaga, Gumla and Simdega during the next 24 hours. Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that due to low pressure, it is raining heavily in Jharkhand.

There are chances of widespread light to moderate rain in Chhattisgarh on 13 and 14 September. There is a possibility of sporadic heavy rain with thunderstorm, lightning and lightning at some places.

    According to the Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circulation is located over north-western Madhya Pradesh and adjacent north-east Rajasthan. A trough is running from north-west Madhya Pradesh and adjoining north-east Rajasthan to south Chhattisgarh. A monsoon trough is moving east-southeastwards through Jaisalmer, Kota, Sidhi, Jamshedpur, Digha up to Northeast Bay of Bengal. Not only this, a fresh cyclonic circulation is likely to form over the northwest and adjacent West Central Bay of Bengal around September 12.

    According to IMD, the above weather conditions are creating a favorable environment for heavy rains in both the states of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. It has been raining in Madhya Pradesh since Saturday. Due to heavy rains, the railway track of Delhi-Bhopal route got washed away, affecting the movement of trains. The situation is such that the routes of some trains had to be changed. Madhya Pradesh will also see good rain on Sunday and Monday. Heavy rain may occur especially in some parts of Gwalior, Ujjain, Sagar, Jabalpur and Chambal divisions.

    Due to active monsoon, heavy rains are being seen in most parts of Chhattisgarh. It has been raining in many areas including the state capital Raipur for the last 24 hours. The Meteorological Department has predicted widespread heavy rain in Chhattisgarh on 13 and 14 September. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some other areas including the capital Raipur during the next 24 hours. According to meteorologists, there are chances of good rain once again in entire Chhattisgarh after September 12.
