    Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday expressed confidence that due to their unwavering faith in the BJP, the voters of Madhya Pradesh will directly support him in the assembly elections like the last two Lok Sabha elections and will elect the “double engine” government.
    In a letter addressed to the people of the state, Modi said he has always had a special connect with Madhya Pradesh and that is why the public showered him with unlimited affection while leading the BJP to unprecedented victories in the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

    PM Modi said that before 2014, the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh had to face many obstacles in its efforts for the development of the state and the welfare of the people due to the “step-motherly behaviour” of the Congress government at the Centre. In his letter shared on ‘X’, the Prime Minister said, “The country has seen that after BJP came to power at the Centre, new potential has developed in the state and Madhya Pradesh is moving towards a bright future while preserving its glorious history.” Has gone.”

    He said that due to the tireless efforts of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and the BJP government in the last 20 years, the state has seen construction of more than five lakh kilometers of roads, a growth rate of more than 16 percent, piped water supply to more than 65 lakh houses and 28,000 rural areas. They are proud of producing more than a megawatt of energy. Modi said, “It is the result of the tireless efforts of you and the ‘double engine’ government that Madhya Pradesh is moving rapidly towards becoming one of the three states with the largest economy in the country.”

    Angered by Congress not giving even a single seat in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav indicated on Thursday that the same treatment can be given to Congress in Uttar Pradesh.
    The SP President said in a sharp tone that the Congress leadership should not allow its ‘small leaders’ to comment about their party. Due to his comment, cracks have started appearing in the opposition alliance ‘India’.

    The SP chief said that if he had known that the ‘India’ alliance was only for the national level, his party leaders would not have picked up Congress’s call to attend the Madhya Pradesh meeting. “I was confused,” he said sarcastically in Sitapur. Yadav said that if this alliance is only for parliamentary elections, then his party accepts it, but he indicated that when the 2024 Lok Sabha elections are held, If there is discussion on seat distribution in Uttar Pradesh then it will be difficult for Congress.

    MP Assembly Elections 2023: Congress has released its 106-page promissory note for Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. In this, the party has made 1290 promises which include filling two lakh vacant posts, creating one lakh new posts in villages and transforming the state into an industrial hub. Congress’s promises include making the minimum purchase price of paddy Rs 2,500 per quintal and wheat purchase price Rs 2,600 per quintal.

    Under Nandini Gau Dhan Yojana, cow dung will be purchased at the rate of two rupees per kilogram. Under Yuva Swabhiman Yojana, young unemployed people will be given Rs 1500 to Rs 3000 monthly.

    Congress has earmarked Rs 1.01 lakh for daughters under the daughter marriage scheme. Under Meri Beti Ladli Scheme, girls will be given a benefit of Rs 2.51 lakh. Social security pension will be increased to Rs 1200 per month. Government employees have been promised promotions and big salary hikes.

    Congress will make efforts that Madhya Pradesh has its own IPL team. Medal Bringing Schemes will be started to encourage sports.

    Congress has promised to give nine rights to the people of Madhya Pradesh. These include “right to water, health, electricity, education, housing, minimum income, employment guarantee and social justice”.

    A health insurance cover of Rs 25 lakh and accident insurance cover of Rs 10 lakh has also been promised to every family in the state.
