  • Chhattisgarh Election Survey: The latest survey of Chhattisgarh elections has also arrived, BJP’s seats have increased from last time; What is the condition of Congress?

Chhattisgarh India Tv CNX Opinion Poll: Dates for Chhattisgarh Assembly elections have been announced. Before the elections, both the parties are claiming victory. After the announcement of election dates, new surveys have come out to know the mood of Chhattisgarh. BJP may get some relief from this survey report, while there are many issues which can challenge Congress. Actually, before voting, India TV CNX conducted an opinion survey.

The results of this opinion poll are shocking. According to this survey, Congress can register 50 seats out of 90 seats in the state in the upcoming assembly elections. While BJP may register victory on 38 seats, others are seen going from zero to 2 seats. According to this survey, even though BJP does not seem to reach the majority mark, there is a possibility of increase in its seats. In the 2018 assembly elections, BJP had won only 15 seats i.e. about 16 percent seats, hence this time BJP is expected to win about 9 to 20 percent more seats as compared to the last election.

It is noteworthy that in the 2018 assembly elections fought under the leadership of Bhupesh Baghel, Congress had won 68 seats and deprived Raman Singh, who was in power for 3 terms, from forming the government again. At present Congress has a total of 71 seats in the state assembly. The state government led by Bhupesh Baghel is claiming to form a repeat government by winning the next assembly.

Congress has 71 out of 90 assembly seats in Chhattisgarh. Whereas BJP has only 13 MLAs. In this way, Janata Congress Chhattisgarh has 3 seats, BSP has 2 seats. In the 2003 assembly elections, BJP won more than 50 out of 91 seats in the state and formed the government under the leadership of Raman Singh. After this, BJP won consecutively in the 2008 and 2013 assembly elections. In the 2018 assembly elections, Congress returned to power under the leadership of Bhupesh Baghel after 15 years.

  • Jogi’s party JCC (J) fields candidates in Chhattisgarh elections; Released list of 16 names

Ajit Jogi Party JCC-J announces Candidates: Former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Ajit Jogi’s party Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (J) has made a roar in the election campaign of the state. JCC (J) on Friday announced its candidates for 16 seats for the Chhattisgarh assembly elections. Voting will be held in the first phase on November 7 next month on the seats for which JCC (J) has released the names of candidates. Khairagarh assembly seat is also included in the list of JCC (J). JCC (J) had won this seat in the 2018 assembly elections, but later it had to face defeat from Congress in the by-election.

JCC (J) has fielded Lucky Kunwar Netam from Khairagarh seat. In 2018, this seat was won by Devvrat Singh of JCC (J). Singh, a three-time Congress MLA, was close to Ajit Jogi. When Jogi formed the new party, Devvrat Singh left the Congress and contested the 2018 elections on a JCC (J) ticket from Khairagarh. He died of a heart attack in November 2021.

Congress had won this seat in the by-election held in April last year. Congress has again fielded sitting MLA Yashoda Verma from this seat. At the same time, BJP has fielded a young face, Vikrant Singh, Vice President of Rajnandgaon District Panchayat and relative of former Chief Minister Raman Singh.

According to the list, other JCC(J) candidates are Ravi Chandravanshi (Pandariya seat), Sunil Kesharwani (Kawardha), Loknath Bharti (Dongargarh-SC), Shamsul Alam (Rajnandgaon), Mukesh Sahu (Dongargaon), Vinod Puram (Khujji), Nagesh Puram (Mohla-Manpur-ST), Shankar Netam (Kondagaon-ST), Baliram Kachalam (Narayanpur-ST), Sonsai Kashyap (Bastar-ST), Navneet Chand (Jagdalpur), Bharat Kashyap (Chitrakote-ST), Bela Telam. (Dantewada-ST), Ramdhar Jurri (Bijapur-ST) and Devendra Telam (Konta-ST).

No female candidate has been included in this list. The party has not fielded candidates on four seats in Bastar region where voting is to be held in the first phase. JCC(J) had fought the last elections in alliance with Bahujan Samaj Party. This alliance had won seven seats. This marginalized party is struggling to remain politically relevant this time.

Amit Jogi had said in an interview that his party is approaching Sarva Adivasi Samaj (SAS) and Gondwana Gantantra Party (GGP) for an alliance. However, the party has not yet formed an alliance with any organization. Mayawati led BSP has formed an alliance with GGP.
JCC(J) is in crisis after the death of Ajit Jogi in 2020. It is known that Ajit Jogi, who led the Congress government in the state from 2000 to 2003, had formed JCC (J) (Janata Congress Chhattisgarh-J) in 2016 after separating from the Congress.

JCC(J) had fought the 2018 assembly elections in alliance with BSP (Bahujan Samaj Party, BSP). Although JCC(J) could not influence the election outcome, it managed to make inroads in the politics of the state traditionally dominated by BJP and Congress. In the last assembly elections, Congress returned to power after a long gap. The party won 68 out of a total of 90 seats, while the BJP came second on 15 seats. JCC(J) got five seats and its ally BSP got two seats.

In the last election, JCC(J)’s vote share was 7.6 percent and it had won five seats. This was the first better performance of a regional party in Chhattisgarh. JCC(J) had lost two assembly constituencies, Marwahi and Khairagarh, in the by-elections held after the deaths of Ajit Jogi and Devvrat Singh. The party has expelled two other MLAs Dharamjit Singh and Pramod Sharma. Now Ajit Jogi’s wife Renu Jogi, representing the Kota seat, is the only MLA of the party.

  • CM Baghel’s question to the Centre, why is the government not banning Mahadev App – VIDEO

Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel on Friday accused the central government of not taking action in the Mahadev online betting app case. CM Baghel said- Only two or three states in the entire country would have investigated this matter. Chhattisgarh government has investigated. 450 people have been arrested. Orders have been given to issue lookout notice. Since the state government cannot ban this app, the central government should ban the app.

The biggest question is what is your relationship with them?

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that when we were in opposition, the government was doing wrong things. We fought for farmers, labourers, youth, women and after coming to the government, we made schemes for them and implemented them. All our schemes are successful and people are satisfied with them and that is why we are claiming 75% in these elections.

On the raids of ED and IT in Chhattisgarh, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel said – Central government does not have any plan. They are not capable of fighting so they are trying to defame them. They are not able to prove anything, they are just conducting raids. They can stoop to any level to come to power. Those people do not care that farmers are suffering losses. Accusing BJP of lying, CM Baghel said that there was a double engine government but Naxalism increased.

We will not let the martyrdom of our workers go unnoticed. Manpur-Mohala area is a highly Naxal affected area. It is being told that Naxalites had earlier warned of murder. A demand was made from the police to provide security

After the murder of the BJP leader, there is an atmosphere of panic in the area including Aundhi village. BJP leaders say that they had earlier demanded the Manpur-Mohla police to provide security to people active in politics in the interior areas, but the police did not pay attention to it. • Will farmer schemes bring power to Congress or will BJP get a chance? Baghel’s ‘litmus test’ will be in the elections

Congress hopes to form government again in Chhattisgarh. Whereas BJP is making every possible effort to capture power. The upcoming assembly elections will be like a test for Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel government. Actually, Baghel has made many farmer-friendly schemes in the last five years. Now it remains to be seen whether he gets political benefit from this in the elections or not. The Congress has tried to strengthen the connect with voters in rural and semi-urban areas with its key pro-farmer schemes focusing on direct fund transfers, higher MSP and other benefits.

With these schemes, Congress seems to be successful in gaining hold in rural and semi-urban areas. The first and major scheme was the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, under which the Bhupesh Baghel government has given input subsidy of Rs 21,912 crore to about 23 lakh farmers growing Kharif paddy. Under this scheme, farmers who grow any one of the 14 identified crops are given an input subsidy of up to Rs 9000.

If a farmer plants banana, papaya or any fruit tree along with 13 other crops besides paddy crop, he gets an input subsidy of Rs 10,000 per acre. The first installment of benefits under this scheme was transferred in July 2022. Another major scheme is Godhan Nyay Yojana (Dung Purchase Scheme). The government has paid a total of Rs 580 crore to animal owners, Gauthan committees and women self-help groups.

Gobar Gas Yojana aims to empower the rural economy and promote organic farming. The plan’s figures and implementation are controversial. This is because in some districts the quantity of vermicompost made from purchased cowdung is more in proportion to the potential amount of vermicompost from cowdung. However, the government has also included the purchase of cow urine (cow urine) at Gauthan centers (cow sheds) to facilitate the transaction of cow dung.

Another big step of the Congress government is the Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Landless Agricultural Laborer Justice Scheme which provides annual financial assistance to landless agricultural laborer families in rural areas. According to official data, assistance of Rs 7,000 is being provided to around 3.55 lakh beneficiaries under this scheme. The Baghel government has also announced that it will purchase 20 quintals of paddy during the current Kharif season compared to 15 quintals earlier. The direct cash benefits of these schemes have had a positive impact on the plains of Chhattisgarh and could be a game changer for the BJP’s aspirations of returning to power.

Political commentators believe that the 2023 assembly elections will be important to assess the results of these pro-farmer schemes of the Bhupesh Baghel government.

Chhattisgarh-based political commentator Harsh Dubey said, ‘For the last five years, the Bhupesh Baghel-led Chhattisgarh government has been giving primary focus to agriculture. Narva is implementing loan waiver under Garva Ghurva Bari (NGGB) programme, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Rural Industrial Park (RIPA), Bhumihin Kisan Nyay Yojana and many such schemes. In the plains of Chhattisgarh, the government has focused on providing benefits to paddy farmers, while in the tribal areas it has focused on minor forest produce. It is true that these schemes directly benefited the farmers of the state, but whether these benefits will be available in the elections or not is a big question. I believe it will work in some areas, especially the central area, where there are around 55 seats.

Congress leaders believe that farmers dominate most of the seats in Chhattisgarh and hence the farmer-friendly schemes of Chhattisgarh will definitely give them results. Congress spokesperson Sushil Anand Shukla said, ‘Everyone in the state knows that the Congress government is working for farmers, tribals and the poor. We have set an example in the country by giving the highest bonus to the paddy farmers of the state. The schemes will definitely give positive results.

  • BJP’s Hindutva card, ticket to father of man killed in communal violence; Challenge given to this 7 time MLA

Chhattisgarh Assembly Election 2023: The election bugle has sounded in Chhattisgarh. BJP has announced 86 candidates and Congress has announced 30 candidates. After the declaration of the candidate, Saja assembly seat of Bemetra district has become quite high profile. There is a discussion in Saja that what turn will politics take this time? The only question rising on everyone’s lips is that BJP is playing a big gamble by giving ticket to Ishwar Sahu, father of the youth killed in the Biranpur violence. Ishwar Sahu has no political background, but BJP has heated up the political atmosphere by playing the card of radical Hindutva.

BJP has fielded Biranpur violence victim Ishwar Sahu against veteran leader Ravindra Choubey, who has won elections from Saja Assembly 7 times. There is discussion in political circles as to who will prevail over whom? This big question is on everyone’s lips in Saja area because BJP has fielded Ishwar Sahu, a laborer from a very common background. This is perhaps the first time in the political history of Chhattisgarh that an election is being fought completely keeping the poor, victims of communalism, on the front foot. There is a tremendous political atmosphere regarding Saja seat.

What happened in Biranpur of Saja Assembly?

In April 2023, a dispute broke out between two communities in Biranpur of Saja area. After this, Ishwar Sahu’s son Bhuvaneshwar Sahu was killed in the communal violence in the village. The dispute that started as a fight between children had taken the form of violence. Many houses were burnt in the fire. Four days later, a father and son from the minority community were murdered in the village. Curfew remained imposed in Biranpur for a fortnight. The police had arrested dozens of people from both the communities in the case but due to lack of evidence, all were released. It is believed that now BJP is trying to capitalize on this issue by linking it with Hindutva.

    Who is Ishwar Sahu?

Ishwar Sahu, who is contesting on BJP ticket from Saja assembly seat, belongs to a laborer and farmer family. Ishwar Sahu, who lives in Biranpur village, has no political background. The only identity of Ishwar Sahu, a very poor and common laborer, is that he is the father of the youth Bhuvaneshwar who was killed in the Biranpur violence. The Chhattisgarh government had announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh and a government job for the family of deceased Bhuvaneshwar Sahu, but the victim’s family refused to accept it, saying that they do not want money and a government job but justice.

Ravindra Choubey is a 7-time MLA from Saja.

Ravindra Choubey, who has won the elections from Saja Assembly 7 times, is counted among the most powerful ministers of the Congress government. Ravindra Choubey, who has been a Cabinet Minister in undivided Madhya Pradesh and Leader of Opposition in Chhattisgarh Assembly, has influence not only in Saja Assembly but in the entire state. Ravindra Choubey, who has been active in politics for almost four decades, has won from Saja Assembly in 1985, 1990, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008 and 2018. He was defeated by Labhchand Bafna in the 2013 assembly elections. This time Ishwar Sahu has been given the ticket in place of Labh Chand Bafna.

How much work will BJP’s Hindutva card do?

How much this Hindutva card of BJP will work will be decided by the public by pressing the EVM button on 17th November, but at present, after the finalization of the names of Ishwar Sahu from BJP and Ravindra Choubey from Congress, a face to face fight has started on this seat. Has occurred. Whatever may be the outcome of Ishwar Sahu’s contest against a veteran like Ravindra Choubey, it is certain that the eyes of the entire state are fixed on this experiment of BJP. Amit Shah has further heated up the political atmosphere by putting Ishwar Sahu in front of the election rally and talking about taking action in the Biranpur case.

Congressmen who have complained to the Election Commission

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had said during the distribution of BJP tickets that Ishwar Sahu is a purely non-political person. BJP may try hard, but Biranpur issue cannot be there. Deputy CM TS Singhdev has also said that this is an experiment to play with emotions. BJP wants to get sympathy. Congress party has reached the Election Commission regarding Amit Shah’s meeting. Amit Shah is being accused of inciting communal tension.

  • Chhattisgarh Chunav: Shah’s attack on Congress in Jagdarpur; Told how Chhattisgarh will celebrate three Diwalis this time

Assembly elections are to be held in Chhattisgarh next month. In such a situation, the political temperature of the state has increased. Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Chhattisgarh on Thursday. He addressed the Parivartan Sankalp Mahasabha in Jagdalpur. Shah fiercely targeted the Congress government led by Bhupesh Baghel. He said that the Baghel government has broken its promise to the people of Chhattisgarh. He looted the money of the poor people of the state and sent it to the Delhi court.

Shah said, ‘Modi ji has done a lot of work for the respect of tribals across the country. Along with protecting water, forests and land, the Narendra Modi government has done the work of providing security, respect and inclusive development to the tribal brothers and sisters. There was a Congress government at the Center for 10 years, that government gave only Rs 29,000 crore for tribal welfare across the country. But after Modi ji became the Prime Minister, Rs 1,32,000 crore was spent on tribal welfare.

    Money delivered to Delhi court

‘During the time of Congress government, there were only 90 Eklavya Model Schools in the country. Whose number has increased to 740 under Modi government. Modi ji created District Mineral Fund, under which Rs 75,000 crore was spent on the development of districts in the last nine years. Under this, works like drinking water, primary education, development of cow shelter and providing electricity to every home have been done. The Baghel government looted the money of the poor people of the state and sent it to Delhi court.

This time we will celebrate three Diwalis

Addressing the General Assembly, the Union Home Minister said, ‘This time the entire country will celebrate one Diwali, but in Chhattisgarh we have to celebrate three Diwalis. First Diwali – of Diwali festival, second Diwali – on 3rd December when BJP government will be formed here and third Diwali – when the temple of Lord Shri Ram will be built in Ayodhya in January, then also Diwali will be celebrated.

Do not make the mistake of bringing Congress government

This is a loud lying government, they just said that Nagarnar Steel Plant will be privatized. I am saying here today that there will be no privatization of it. Only the tribals here have rights over the Nagarnar Steel Plant. Modi ji just came here and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 27 thousand crore for Jagdalpur area of Bastar district. I am telling you, if you make the mistake of bringing Baghel ji again, then the money sent here by the Central Government will reach Delhi through the Congress ATM.

  • BJP’s efforts to woo tribal voters, Shah’s political noise in Jagdalpur; Congress surrounded

Both BJP and Congress parties have started campaigning vigorously for the assembly elections in Chhattisgarh. BJP’s star campaigner Amit Shah reached Chhattisgarh today. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who reached Jagdalpur, offered prayers at Danteshwari Mata Temple. After this Shah addressed the public meeting. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has made a political attack on Congress and accused it of promoting Naxalism. He claimed that the incidents of Naxalite violence have reduced by 52 percent during the nine-year rule of the Narendra Modi government.

Addressing the rally, Shah urged the people to bring the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to power in the currently Congress-ruled state, and promised that his party would free the entire state from the Naxalite menace. He claimed that if the Congress comes back to power in Chhattisgarh, the money sent from the Center for the development of the state “will be sent to Delhi through the ‘ATM’ of the Congress.”

Voting for 90 assembly seats of Chhattisgarh is to be held in two phases on November 7 and 17 and the counting of votes will take place on December 3. Shah said the people of Chhattisgarh will celebrate Diwali thrice – once on the festival day, second when the BJP comes to power on December 3 and third when the construction of the Ram temple is completed in January, as Chhattisgarh is the “nanihal” (nanihal) of Lord Ram. Place of maternal grandparents of Lord Ram).

The rally was organized in Jagdalpur, the headquarters of Bastar district, before the filing of nominations by BJP candidates in three constituencies of Bastar. Bastar region was once considered the most affected by Naxalism and in some places this threat still persists.

Shah said, “Elect BJP to power in the state, we will free the entire state from danger.” He claimed, “In 9 years of Modi government, incidents of Naxalite violence have reduced by 52 per cent. While deaths in Maoist violence have reduced by 70 per cent, civilian deaths have reduced by 68 per cent, while (Naxalite) There has been a decline in the number of cases – there has been a decline of 62 percent in the affected districts.

The Union Minister said that development for tribals (Prime Minister) Modi ji has done a lot of work in the interest of tribals across the country. Apart from protecting their water, forests and land, Modi government has also brought security, respect and inclusive development.

Taking a political dig at Congress, the Union Minister said, “You have two options, one is Congress which promotes Naxalism while on the other hand there is BJP which eliminates Naxalism.” Congress which sent crores of rupees to Delhi Darbar due to corruption, while BJP which is giving gas cylinders, toilets, drinking water, health facilities, grains and houses to crores of poor people.”
