    Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh on Thursday. During this, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various projects worth more than Rs 57 thousand crore in both the election states. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) issued a statement on Wednesday saying that in Madhya Pradesh, Modi will lay the foundation stone of projects worth more than Rs 50,700 crore, including the petrochemical complex at Jahan Bina Refinery and 10 new industrial projects across the state. At the same time, in Chhattisgarh he will dedicate some important projects of the railway sector to the nation.

    The PMO said the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited’s (BPCL) petrochemical complex at Bina Refinery in Madhya Pradesh, power and renewable energy manufacturing zone at Narmadapuram and mega industrial park at Ratlam. According to the PMO, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of two IT parks in Indore and six new industrial parks across the state. After this he will leave for Raigarh, Chhattisgarh.

    According to the PMO, the Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation several important railway projects worth about Rs 6,350 crore in Chhattisgarh. Modi will also lay the foundation stone of critical care blocks in nine districts of Chhattisgarh and distribute one lakh sickle cell counseling cards, she said. Assembly elections are to be held in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh later this year. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) faces the challenge of saving its government in Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, in Chhattisgarh, its effort will be to remove Congress from power and form its own government again.
