    New Delhi: Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Pad SE tablet and Redmi Buds 5A TWS earbuds in the Indian market. Notably, the Redmi Pad SE tablet originally debuted in China last year in August.

    Apart from this, the Chinese company also rolled out the Xiaomi Handheld Garment Steamer, and Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner S10 in India.

    For the 4GB+128GB base model, the tablet is priced at Rs 12,999. The 6GB+128GB model costs Rs  13,999, while the 8GB+128GB carries a price tag of Rs 14,999. The Redmi Pad SE cover which is priced at Rs 1,299.

    Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi’s Xiaomi 14 series will be launched on October 26. Earlier, the company has given information about the design and some specifications of Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro. Xiaomi 14 will have a 6.36 inch display with minimal bezels. The company has also shared camera samples of this smartphone on the Chinese messaging platform Weibo. Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro will be provided with a Leica tuned rear camera unit and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC as processor. Xiaomi 14, the base model of this series, will have a 6.36 inch Huaxing C8 LTPO AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 460 ppi pixel density and adaptive refresh rate up to 120 Hz. Its peak brightness will be 3,000 nits. This smartphone will be made available in Rock Blue, Snow Mountain Pink and Classic Black colors. There is an improvement in the images in the camera samples given by Xiaomi. It will have a 75 mm telephoto lens. Xiaomi 14 series will have HyperOS operating system. Earlier, some leaks had suggested that Xiaomi 14 will have a 4,600 mAh battery with support for 90 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging. The Xiaomi 14 Pro may pack a 4,860 mAh battery with support for 120 W wired fast charging and 50 W wireless charging. The company has planned to increase sales from retail stores in India. For the last few years, Xiaomi has been focusing on e-commerce websites. After lagging behind South Korea’s Samsung, Xiaomi is trying to increase its smartphone sales. There are more than 60 crore smartphone users in the country. However, online’s share in smartphone sales is 44 percent. Retail stores contribute significantly to these sales. Data from market research firm Counterpoint shows that only 34 percent of the company’s total sales this year came from retail stores. In comparison, Samsung’s offline sales are about 57 percent.
