Nitin Namdev, Raipur. On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has made an important announcement to promote Khadi. He said that from October 2, 25 percent subsidy will be available on purchasing Khadi clothes, which will continue till March 31, 2025. The Chief Minister made this announcement at the closing ceremony of Swachhta Hi Seva Abhiyan 2024-Swachhata Pakhwada and Khadi Village Industries Exhibition organized at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium.
While discussing with journalists during the program, CM Vishnudev Sai also gave information regarding paddy procurement. He said that Lord Indra seems happy this time and there has been good rainfall in the state. There is a possibility of good yield of paddy. CM said that a meeting will be held soon regarding paddy procurement, in which all related issues will be discussed.
Chief Minister Sai also bought a saree for his wife while visiting the Khadi Village Industries Exhibition. He appealed to all citizens to use Khadi as much as possible. CM Sai has also announced 25% subsidy to promote Khadi clothes.
