He told that Rana had celebrated his 26th birthday this year and his marriage was to take place on December 2. Sen said, his father Subhash Chander Rana is a farmer and has four sons. His elder brother is also in the army and is posted in Punjab. Rana had joined the army about eight years ago and was brave. He said that the popularity of an army soldier can be gauged by the number of people attending his funeral procession.
