    Rupesh Dubey, resident of Mahamaya Para, Ratanpur, had gone for a ride on his Pulsar bike on the main road on Friday night. Late at night he was crossing the road on a bike near Gehlot Dhaba on the National Highway. At the same time, a speeding car coming towards Bilaspur hit the bike hard and dragged it for 20 feet. After the accident, the car went out of control and overturned.

    Rupesh Dubey died on the spot. During the accident, two youths traveling in the car were trapped inside. After a lot of effort, both of them somehow came out. Both the youths in the car are also injured. After the incident, both of them reached Pali, where they are undergoing treatment in the hospital. After receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and sent Rupesh Dubey’s body to the hospital and started investigating the case.

  • Uttar Pradesh: Ten Killed In Tractor-Trolley Collisions In Mirzapur |

    The tragic incident took place in Uttar Pradesh on Friday when a truck collided with a tractor-trolley, resulting in the death of ten people, police said, The tractor-trolley was carrying 13 labourers returning from construction work.

    The incident occurred around 1 AM on G T Road, between Kachhawan and Mirzamurad, near the Mirzapur-Varanasi border, according to Superintendent of Police (Mirzapur) Abhinandan.

    “The tractor trolley, carrying 13 labourers who were returning from construction work in Bhadohi district, was hit from behind by the truck that had gone out of the driver’s control,” the SP said, PTI reported. 

    On being alerted, the SP and other senior officers rushed to the scene to oversee the rescue operations.

    “Of the 13 injured, 10 died while the three others were taken to the hospital at the IIT-BHU, where their condition is stated to be normal,” the officer said.

    Police have sent the bodies to the mortuary, Abhinandan stated, adding that a case has been registered at the Kachhawan police station and further legal proceedings are underway.

    Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances leading to the accident, the officer said.

  • Uttar Pradesh: At Least 12 Killed, 16 Injured After Bus Hits Van On Agra-Aligarh National Highway |

    In a tragic incident, at least 12 people were killed and others injured while travelling in a van on Friday after a roadways bus hit the vehicle from behind on National Highway 93, officials said.

    Sixteen others were injured in the accident and have been admitted to a government hospital.

    “The accident occurred when the bus hit the van while trying to overtake it on the Agra-Aligarh National Highway,” said Nipun Agarwal, Superintendent of Police (SP), PTI reported.

    The condition of four of the injured is said to be critical. The passengers were travelling from Hathras to Agra.

  • Chhattisgarh: Tragic road accident, high speed car collides with trailer, mother and two daughters die on the spot

    Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. A tragic road accident has taken place in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh. Here a speeding car collided with a parked trailer. In the accident, the mother and two daughters travelling in the car died on the spot, while the car driver and another person were injured. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation by registering a case. This case is of Sakri police station area.

    According to the information, Ankit Sharma, a resident of Shubham Vihar Colony of Bilaspur, along with his mother Preeti Sharma (48 years), sister Shruti Sharma (19 years), father Badrani Sharma and a family member Shreya Sharma (24 years) and two others were returning home in a Hyundai i10 car via Pendridih bypass after having dinner at a hotel in Chakarbhatta. As soon as the Sharma family reached the SBI Bank located on the narrow main road, Ankit Sharma, who was driving the car, dozed off and his car collided with the left side of the trailer number Rj 14 GF 2688 parked on the road. The incident was so tragic that Preeti Sharma, her daughter Shreya Sharma and younger daughter Shruti Sharma died in the accident. The other two are seriously injured. The injured are undergoing treatment in the hospital.

    It is being told that the deceased Shreya Sharma was married in Kanpur. She had come to her maternal home a few days ago. On Wednesday night, she was returning after having dinner with her family, when she met with an accident and died.

  • 2 Dead, Other Injured As Truck Hits Group Of Kanwariyas In Madhya Pradesh’s Morena |

    New Delhi: The tragic accident occurred at Deori Gharial Center on National Highway 44 in the civil line area of  Morena district in Madhya Pradesh on Monday, where a truck collided with a group of Kanwariyas, resulting in the death of two individuals and the other six received are injuries.

    The accident took place in the early morning after which the Kanwariyas blocked the National Highway, creating a traffic jam. Excessive police presence at the scene is trying to clear the blockage.

    Following the horrifying accident, the dead and injured were taken to the Districts Hospital. Reportedly, Kawariyas, residents of a village under the Sihoniya police station area in Morena district.

  • Goa: 4 Labourers Killed, 5 Injured As Bus Rams Into Roadside Shanties |

    New Delhi: The tragic incident took place at an industrial estate in the South Goa district after a private bus rammed into two roadside shanties which caused the death of Four labourers and five others were critically injured, police said.

    The accident took place at around 11.30 pm on Saturday when labourers were sleeping in the shanties, all the labourers were engaged in road construction work, police said, PTI reported.

    Deputy Superintendent of Police Santosh Desai said the bus driver’s medical examination confirmed he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident and police have taken him into custody for interrogation.

    The bus driver was identified as Bharat Govekar, a resident of the nearby Cartolim village.

    A labourer declared that the bus driver threatened the other labourers present at the site to kill them if they complained to anyone about the incident, a police official said.

    “Four labourers died on the spot while five were critically injured and admitted to the Goa Medical College and Hospital,” he said.

     The police informed that the labourers were employed by a contractor.

    “After the incident, the bus driver threatened to kill us if we complained to anyone. The driver was under the influence of alcohol,” claimed Rupender Kumar Mathur, whose uncle Ramesh Mathur and brother Anil Mathur were among those killed in the incident.

    He also claimed that due delay in medical help at the accident place caused a delay in taking the victims to the District Hospital in Margao.

    Rupender Mathur also said he was staying in one of the accident-affected shanties but at the time of the incident, he had come out to attend a mobile phone call.
