  • Congress state in-charge Sachin Pilot’s allegation, said- bad law and order situation in the state, unable to fulfill the promise made in the manifesto…

Shivam Mishra, Raipur. Chhattisgarh government is failing on every front. The government officials themselves are speaking openly. The promises made in the manifesto are not being fulfilled. Sachin Pilot, while talking to the media about the law and order situation in the state, said that the government has no control over the cases that are coming to light. The government has no grip on law and order. Orders come from Delhi and they are followed. Bullets are being fired, thefts are taking place, looting is happening, the government should look into its own affairs in every area.

He said that the government’s priority is to target Congress leaders, misuse agencies and defame them. The Congress party is fully prepared. The Government of India has misused its position for the last several years. The government was formed for public welfare, for development, but their work has always been to target the opposition and tear apart the Constitution. The Prime Minister went to Jammu and Kashmir, and after going there, he is blaming the opposition-India alliance.

Sachin Pilot said that BJP leaders had talked about tampering with the Constitution, which became a big issue in the elections. The public has understood that BJP is on the backfoot. After Rahul Gandhi became the leader of the opposition, the opposition is setting the agenda, the government is having to take back its decision on every front.

On Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation, Sachin Pilot said that it is his party’s decision. In democracy, the final decision is of the people. Congress party is always ready for every challenge. Elections are to be held in two states now, the alliance will win with a huge majority in both the states.

Sachin Pilot said about his visit that our visit is for 2 days. There will be a discussion on the activities in the coming time. We will discuss the by-elections and municipal elections in Chhattisgarh. We will brainstorm with senior leaders and strengthen the organization. The new secretary will tour the entire state and meet the workers.

Regarding the organisational changes, Sachin Pilot said that the posts are lying vacant. We are preparing a plan to give new and energetic people a chance in place of old leaders in the block and district cells.

Sachin Pilot, while calling BJP’s trickery, said that they are trying to mislead people by calling it the world’s biggest party. Those who gave the slogan of crossing 400 are making members through missed calls. Stop influencing people with rhetoric and sloganeering. The Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh have no authority, all decisions are taken from Delhi. Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan got nothing in the general budget of the Centre.

  • ‘West Bengal, Haryana, and Rajasthan Rejected BJP,’ Says Congress Leader Sachin Pilot |

New Delhi: In the Lok Sabha election 2024, the BJP-led NDA alliance fell short of gaining the expected numbers after which Congress leader Sachin Pilot said that states like West Bengal, Haryana, and Rajasthan rejected BJP. The Pilot alleged that the people didn’t like the BJP’s narrative of “Mandir-Masjid” and “Hindu-Muslim”.

“The states in which the BJP expected to increase its numbers, like West Bengal, Haryana and Rajasthan, the people have rejected them there… The issues we brought up were liked by the people… Our narrative was optimistic, BJP’s narrative was Mandir-Masjid, Hindu-Muslim and Mangalsutra. The people may have not liked it,” Pilot said while talking to ANI.

Responding to the party’s further strategies, the Congress leader said that the alliance has to make the political decisions.

“The public has given a clear message to the ruling party that the kind of governance they were giving, is not acceptable and that is why their total tally has dropped to 60 to 65 seats. It’s a political message from the public through EVM and BJP should introspect this,” he further added.

The final count for the Lok Sabha 2024 elections concluded on June 3, BJP secured 240, far fewer than had been expected, while, Congress secured 99 seats which is the highest tally since the 2014 Lok Sabha Election.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has secured a third term but this time BJP will need the support of other parties like JD (U) chief Nitish Kumar and TDP’s chief Chandrababu Naidu to reach the majority mark and form a government.
