    New Delhi: Xiaomi launches its much-anticipated Xiaomi 14 flagship series in India. The series includes the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Xiaomi also announces a partnership with Leica and Qualcomm.

    Notably, Alan Schaller, a Leica photographer, tested the Xiaomi 14 series cameras. The smartphone also features a ‘Cloud de Paris design’ and an aluminum frame. The Xiaomi 14 will go on sale on March 11 at 12 PM via mi.com, Xiaomi outlets, Mi Home stores, Amazon and Flipkart. Meanwhile the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will go on sale on April 12 via mi.com and Xiaomi Home outlets. 

     

    Xiaomi 14 Specifications And Price:

    The smartphone features a 6.36-inch screen, offering an impressive brightness of 3000 nits and enhanced by Dolby Vision technology. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, ensuring smooth performance. It runs on the Android 14 HyperCharge OS. The Xiaomi 14 comes in three color options: Jade Green, Matte Black, and Classic White.

    The smartphone is loaded with a 4610 mAh battery and 50W wireless HyperCharge capability. With an IP68 rating, it provides exceptional durability and resistance to water and dust.     The newly-launched smartphone comes with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage variant and carries a price tag of Rs 69,999. There is a 24-month no-cost EMI. In the camera department, the smartphone features a 50MP primary camera with OIS. For selfies and video chats, there is a 32MP Camera.   

    Xiaomi 14 Ultra Specifications And Price:

    The smartphone features a 6.73-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED display, boasting a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels. It runs on the Android 14-based HyperOS custom skin.

    The smartphone is loaded with a 5,300mAh battery, supporting rapid charging capabilities with 90W wired charging and impressive 80W wireless charging support. Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes in Black and White colour options.

    This smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and features a Quad Curved display. The newly launched smartphone comes with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage variant and carries a price tag of Rs 99,999. It is anticipated that Xiaomi will globally unveil the Xiaomi 14 and possibly its variants, such as the Xiaomi 14 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Ultra at the prestigious Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024. Xiaomi 14 features a stunning 6.36-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED panel with a remarkable 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3000 nits – a feature previously seen on devices like the iQOO 12.

    The new smartphone series of Chinese consumer electronics company Xiaomi will be launched this week. The company’s new operating system will also be introduced in the Xiaomi 14 series. This may include Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. The new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC can be given in these smartphones. Xiaomi has informed on the Chinese messaging platform Weibo about the launch of its new series of smartphones on October 26. Apart from HyperOS, these smartphones will be provided with a new camera system developed in collaboration with Leica. The company’s HyperOS operating system will be available for the first time in this series. Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC can be found in both the smartphones of this series. Qualcomm can announce this processor this week. Recently, tipster Anvin (@ZionsAnvin) shared a poster on X (previously Twitter) which allegedly gave the specifications of Xiaomi 14. This smartphone may have a 6.44 inch Huaxing C8 OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Its screen can support Dolby Vision, HDR10+. Apart from this, LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage can be available. A larger VC cooling system can be provided in it. This smartphone can get 50 megapixel primary camera, 50 megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor and 50 megapixel telephoto sensor. Its 4,600 mAh battery can support 90 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging. The company has planned to increase sales from retail stores in India. For the last few years, Xiaomi has been focusing on e-commerce websites. After lagging behind South Korea’s Samsung, it is trying to increase its smartphone sales. There are more than 60 crore smartphone users in the country. However, online’s share in smartphone sales is 44 percent. Retail stores contribute significantly to these sales. Data from market research firm Counterpoint shows that only 34 percent of the company’s total sales this year came from retail stores. In comparison, Samsung’s offline sales are about 57 percent.
