Airtel has withdrawn its Rs 249 recharge plan, a move that will impact prepaid users. This decision follows Reliance Jio’s actions, leaving subscribers seeking budget-friendly data packages with fewer options. The now-discontinued Rs 249 plan included 1GB of daily high-speed data, 100 daily SMS messages, and unlimited voice calls. Users also received free access to Xstream Play, Perplexity Pro AI, and free HelloTunes. The plan had a validity period of 24 days and offered free AI access until January 2026. Customers who previously utilized the Rs 249 plan will now have to consider the Rs 299 plan.
