Apple is launching its new retail store, Apple Hebbal, in Bengaluru, the tech hub of India, on September 2nd. This outlet will be the first official Apple store in South India. The company has previously established retail locations in Mumbai (Apple BKC) and Delhi (Apple Saket). Adding to its online presence, this new store becomes Apple’s third physical retail location in India.
At the Apple Hebbal store, customers can explore and purchase the latest Apple products. The store will feature the iPhone 16 series, MacBook Pro, iPad Air, Apple Watch Series 10, AirPods 4, and AirTag. The store will be managed by a team of 70 trained employees, representing 15 Indian states. This team will support customers with product selection, financing, iOS setup, and transitioning from Android devices to iPhones. The Hebbal store is designed to run entirely on renewable energy, aiming for carbon-neutral operations to protect the environment.
Apple Hebbal will also host free daily sessions under the ‘Today at Apple’ program, allowing people to learn and enhance their skills. These sessions will cover topics like iPhone photography, the use of Apple Intelligence, creative expression with iPad and Apple Pencil, and group booking options for various audiences. The store is set to open at 1 PM on September 2nd. This launch marks Apple’s continued expansion in India and reflects a key development for the company.
Furthermore, the annual Apple event is anticipated this month, where the iPhone 17 series might be unveiled. It’s reported that some Asian countries will receive the iPhone 17 series without a SIM slot, exclusively using eSIM. India currently supports both physical SIM and eSIM options.
