Following the release of the GPT-5 model, OpenAI has introduced subscription plans in Indian rupees. According to reports, the ChatGPT Plus plan is priced at ₹1999, including GST, while the Pro plan is set at ₹19,900 per month. Businesses using the Team plan will be charged ₹2099 per seat per month. Previously, Indian users had to pay in US dollars: $20 for the Plus plan (approximately ₹1752), $200 for the Pro plan (approximately ₹17,528), and $30 per seat for the Team plan (approximately ₹2,629).
