OpenAI’s Chief Information Security Officer, Dan Stucky, announced via X (formerly Twitter) that the feature allowing ChatGPT chats to appear in search engines has been removed. He explained that the feature was being tested as an experiment. Users had to opt-in to use the feature, first selecting a chat to share and then clicking a checkbox to share it with search engines.
