Windows 11 users can anticipate a new wave of AI features from Microsoft, particularly through Copilot. The update includes the Copilot Vision tool, which enables the analysis of on-screen content. Users can then pose questions about what’s displayed on their screens or across open applications. The system also permits users to request that Copilot execute specific tasks on the PC, such as optimizing image lighting. Microsoft’s data reveals that nearly 60% of individuals use generative AI for professional tasks, with a higher percentage (64%) using it for hobbies and personal interests. The AI agent will be accessible via the Settings app for those with Snapdragon-powered Copilot Plus PCs. Additional enhancements include an AI sticker generator in Paint, an object selection tool for image editing, a lighting option in Photos, and a tool for precise screenshot capture. These features are slated for release in August, coinciding with the rollout of a color picker within the Snipping Tool and an auto-fix mechanism for system restarts.
