Windows 11 users can anticipate a wave of new AI features, courtesy of Microsoft, including tools from the AI library. The upcoming features include the Copilot Vision tool, enabling users to scan and analyze content on their screen. This can be used across applications and webpages. The Copilot Vision tool will be integrated into the Copilot app. Besides, users can use the AI to execute certain actions on their PCs, such as adjusting the lighting in pictures. A recent consumer AI report commissioned by Microsoft noted that a significant portion of people are using AI for both professional and personal use. Copilot Plus PC users with Snapdragon processors will have access to the AI agent via the Settings app. The “Click to Do” feature will be available for Copilot Plus PCs. Other additions include an AI-powered sticker generator in Paint, an object select tool, an AI lighting option in Photos, and a precise screenshot tool. The updates are scheduled to launch in August, alongside non-AI related features, such as a color picker for the Snipping Tool and a mechanism designed to automatically address issues that cause unexpected restarts.
