CMF, the sub-brand of Nothing, introduced the CMF Buds 2 in April 2025, with a launch price of Rs 2,699 ($60 internationally). Key features include 48dB hybrid ANC, Dirac Opteo tuning for audio enhancement, and a claimed battery life of 25 hours. The Buds 2 sit in the mid-range of CMF’s TWS offerings, positioned between the more budget-friendly Buds 2a and the higher-end Buds 2 Plus. The square charging case has rounded corners and is constructed from a matte PC + ABS material. The earbuds themselves are glossy and have an IP55 rating, making them suitable for workouts or light rain. The 11 mm PMI drivers, coupled with Dirac Opteo, produce a bass-heavy sound profile, which can be customized using the Nothing X app with its equalizer, Ultra Bass 2.0, and Dirac Opteo presets. Connectivity is via Bluetooth 5.4 with Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair. The earbuds include six HD microphones for clear call quality and have a wind noise reduction feature. The CMF Buds 2 boast impressive battery life. With ANC turned off, the earbuds can last up to 13.5 hours on a single charge, with the charging case providing a total of 55 hours. With ANC activated, the earbuds offer 8.5 hours of listening time, and the case extends the total listening time to 30 hours.
