PM Modi underscored the importance of the partnership between India and Japan, especially in sectors like semiconductors, AI, and space exploration. Acknowledging the importance of clean energy, the two countries have signed an agreement on a Joint Credit Mechanism to facilitate collaboration on clean energy and a green future. PM Modi emphasized that India’s partnership with Japan symbolizes trust. He also noted that India is becoming a major destination for investments, and he encouraged businesses to expand their operations in India. The Prime Minister also expressed confidence that India would soon become the world’s third-largest economy. He added that approximately 80% of companies surveyed by the Japan External Trade Organization are looking to expand in India, with 75% already reporting profits.
