Google has launched its innovative AI Mode in India, marking a significant advancement in search technology. This experimental feature empowers users to pose in-depth questions and receive integrated answers that incorporate web data, live information, and contextual understanding. After a testing phase in the United States, the tool is now available through Google Labs in India and is currently compatible with English. Powered by a customized version of Gemini 2.5, Google’s internal language model, AI Mode simplifies the search process by consolidating multiple queries into a single, comprehensive response. Users can ask intricate questions, and the AI Mode will break them down for a more efficient information retrieval. The feature supports voice and image-based queries, adding to its accessibility. Launched on June 24, 2025, users can access AI Mode through the Google app or the Google Labs platform.
