Redmi is preparing to launch a new smartphone featuring a massive 9,000mAh battery, according to recent reports. This move places Redmi in direct competition with Honor and other Chinese manufacturers expanding their focus on large-battery smartphones. The device will leverage upgraded silicon-carbon composite technology, developed in-house, to optimize battery capacity and lifespan while keeping the phone’s dimensions manageable. This ambitious project aims to break the existing norms of battery capacity and phone thickness. This follows the expected launch of the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro, which is rumored to feature an 8000mAh battery, a significant upgrade from its predecessor, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which has a 7550mAh battery.
