Snapchat is implementing a new policy for its Memories feature, which will now require users to pay for additional storage. Previously free since 2016, the feature allowed users to save photos and videos. The change means that users will need to subscribe to a paid plan if their data exceeds 5GB. This alteration comes as Snapchat adapts its features to a paid model for enhanced storage capacity.
