UP govt to disburse Rs 415 crore as crop loss compensation | Information

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh authorities has allotted over Rs 415 crores in aid funds for the monetary 12 months 2021-22 to offer enough compensation to the farmers who suffered crop losses as a result of latest floods.
It has been reported that the compensation was launched to the respective district collectors and might be distributed by means of DBT.
The officers have expedited the aid course of after chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s explicitly instructed that each farmer, whose crop has been altered or broken must be compensated on a precedence foundation.
Until now, the Uttar Pradesh authorities has transferred over Rs 4,15 crore in aid funds that can profit as many as 11 lakh farmers throughout the state.
The compensation quantity might be immediately transferred to the checking account of farmers from the district treasury. In wake of the pure calamities, the state authorities is offering monetary help from the Nationwide Catastrophe Aid Fund (NDRF).
Farmers in Uttar Pradesh have suffered extreme crop injury as a result of torrential rains and heavy floods in September and early October.
