Akums Drugs IPO Details: The initial public offer of Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited will open next week. Retail investors will be able to bid for the IPO from July 30 to August 1. The company’s shares will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on August 6.

Through this issue, the company wants to raise ₹ 1,856.74 crore. For this, the company is issuing 27,345,162 new shares worth ₹ 680 crore. At the same time, the existing investors of the company are selling 17,330,435 shares worth ₹ 1,176.74 crore through Offer for Sale i.e. OFS.

What is the minimum and maximum amount that can be invested?

Akams Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited has fixed the price band of this issue at ₹ 646-₹ 679. Retail investors can bid for at least one lot i.e. 22 shares. If you apply for 1 lot as per the upper price band of the IPO of ₹ 679, then you will have to invest ₹ 14,938 for it. At the same time, retail investors can apply for a maximum of 13 lots i.e. 286 shares. For this, investors will have to invest ₹ 194,194 as per the upper price band.

Akams Drugs & Pharmaceuticals’ premium in the grey market is 25.04%

Before the opening of the IPO, the company’s stock has reached a premium of 25.04% i.e. ₹ 170 per share in the gray market. In such a situation, according to the upper price band of ₹ 679, its listing can happen at ₹ 849. However, this can only be guessed, the listing price of the share is different from the gray market price.

10% of the issue is reserved for retail investors

The company has reserved 75% of the issue for qualified institutional buyers (QIB). Apart from this, about 10% is reserved for retail investors and the remaining 15% is reserved for non-institutional investors (NII).
