Animal Ambulance: These days, many videos of dog bites or animals being harassed come to the fore. In some videos, there are complaints of dog bites and in some videos, people are harassing street dogs. In such a situation, you should do one thing which will be beneficial for you and everyone. Teams immediately arrive from these platforms to rescue the animals.
It has been started jointly by Haryana State’s CSR Trust and DLF Foundation. At present it has been started only in Gurugram city. There will be a first of its kind free animal ambulance service in Gurugram for all the stray animals. IAS Nishant Kumar Yadav, Co-Joint Secretary of HSCSRT and Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram and Gayatri Paul, CEO of DLF Foundation have signed an agreement. Under which, in collaboration with the Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department of the Haryana Government, the ambulance has been started to provide timely medical aid and emergency services to the distressed stray animals.
Madhya Pradesh gets 407 animal ambulances
Doctors and compounders will also be present in this ambulance of Madhya Pradesh government for the treatment of cows and other animals. A total of 407 ambulances will be operated at every block level in the state. To avail the service of this ambulance, cattle owners will have to call toll free number 1962. Ambulances will reach the homes of cattle herders within a short time of contacting this number. As soon as this facility is implemented, it will become easier for animal farmers to get their sick animals treated.
This scheme was also started in Uttar Pradesh
Let us tell you that recently such a scheme was started in Uttar Pradesh also. About 502 ambulances have been given to the state by the Central Government. In case of illness of animals, cattle owners will be able to get this facility by dialing 1962. After the start of this ambulance service, cows can be sent to the veterinary hospital without any delay. With this, the lives of milch animals can be saved in time.
Such scheme has also been implemented in Andhra Pradesh
Let us tell you that such a scheme has also been started in Andhra Pradesh in the year 2022. The state government had spent a total of Rs 143 crore on 175 ambulances. After the success of this scheme in Andhra Pradesh, the UP government has also started it on a trial basis. Now a similar ambulance service has been started in Madhya Pradesh also.
Let us tell you that the ambulance service (Animal Ambulance Number) will be completely free and it will benefit the stray animals suffering from injuries and accidents. She will be posted in the office of the Deputy Director of Animal Husbandry Department located at Rajiv Chowk, Gurugram. And will provide its services as per the need in the entire Gurugram district as well as other parts of Haryana.
