Field Marshal Asim Munir delivered the nuclear threat during a black-tie dinner in Tampa, hosted for businessman Adnan Asad, the Honorary Consul of Pakistan in Tampa. Following his nuclear warning, Munir raised the issue of the Indus Water Treaty, claiming that India’s potential suspension of the treaty would put 250 million people at risk of starvation. He warned that Pakistan was waiting for India to build dams, and that when they did, they would destroy them with ten missiles. Munir emphasized that the Indus River is not the private property of Indians, stating, “We do not lack missiles, Al-hamdulillah (Praise be to Allah).”
