The Axiom-4 mission concluded with the safe return of Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla and his crew to Earth. The Dragon spacecraft splashed down in the Pacific Ocean after an 18-day mission at the International Space Station. Shukla, along with Peggy Whitson, Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski, and Tibor Kapu, departed the ISS and began their journey home. The event was marked by celebrations, including a welcome message from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Shukla’s mission is particularly significant as he is the first Indian to visit the ISS, inspiring a new generation. The astronauts will now undergo a period of medical evaluation and rehabilitation to readjust to life on Earth.
