Bhopal. The Modi government at the Center has given a big gift to the farmers before Diwali. The government has increased the MSP of six crops in the Rabi marketing season for 2025-26. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has expressed gratitude to PM Narendra Modi for this.
Increase in MSP of 6 crops
According to the information, the Central Government has increased the MSP of 6 crops in the coming Rabi marketing season for 2025-26. The MSP for wheat has been increased by Rs 150 per quintal. It has been increased from Rs 2,275 to Rs 2,425. There has been an increase of Rs 130 per quintal for barley. It has increased from Rs 1850 to Rs 1980.

Similarly, there has been an increase of Rs 210 per quintal for gram. MSP has increased from Rs 5440 to Rs 5650. An increase of Rs 275 per quintal has been made for lentils. MSP has increased from Rs 6425 to Rs 6700. An increase of Rs 300 per quintal has been made for mustard. MSP has increased from Rs 5650 to Rs 5950. Whereas the MSP of safflower has increased from Rs 5800 to Rs 5940.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that we are fully committed to the welfare of farmers. We have taken many decisions benefiting the farmers. I hope that considering what our government has done for the farmers, they will take a decision.
