India General election phase 6th voting: In the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections as well, incidents of violence took place in various areas of West Bengal. During the voting in Jhargram Lok Sabha constituency, BJP candidate Prannath Tudu was attacked with bricks and stones. Prannath Tudu was injured in the attack. He has been admitted to the hospital in an injured condition. Along with this, two security personnel deployed for his security have also been injured. A video of the incident has also surfaced, in which the BJP candidate and the security personnel can be seen running away. BJP has blamed TMC for this. TMC has denied the allegations.

According to the information, BJP agents were not being allowed to enter the polling booths of Mogalapata village of Gadveta assembly constituency of Jhargram. Gadveta was going there after receiving complaints. As soon as Prannath reached Tudu area, about one to one hundred and fifty villagers surrounded him and started shouting slogans of Go Back.
