A Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft experienced a landing gear fire at Denver International Airport, leading to a full evacuation of the passengers and crew. The incident occurred on an American Airlines flight, AA3023, as it was preparing to depart for Miami. The Denver Fire Department responded to the scene. A total of 173 passengers and six crew members were safely evacuated. Video footage shows passengers using emergency slides as the landing gear caught fire. The FAA reported the flight was set to depart from gate C34 at 1:12 pm, with the incident near runway 34L around 2:45 pm. Medical personnel evaluated five individuals at the scene; one person received additional care for a minor injury.
