Tragedy struck Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday as six Pakistani soldiers, led by a Captain, were martyred in a brutal IED blast targeting their convoy. The attack took place in the Sultani area of Kurram district, near the Afghan border. Military sources confirmed that terrorists not only detonated an explosive device but also engaged the convoy in gunfire. The valiant security forces retaliated fiercely, neutralizing seven terrorists during the intense exchange. Authorities have secured the site and initiated a comprehensive search operation to eliminate any further terrorist presence. The nation mourns the loss of its brave soldiers.
