Aam Aadmi Party leader and minister Saurabh Bhardwaj further said, “When the mayor elections were held in Delhi, AAP was the largest party with 134 councillors. The most senior councilor is made the presiding officer but the LG made a BJP councilor and tried to get votes cast dishonestly. Mayor elections are to be held again on 26th April. The fixed procedure is that the current mayor, Shaili Oberoi, will be the presiding officer. But LG VK Saxena is trying to break this old process.
