Four individuals lost their lives when a light training aircraft crashed in the Kolomna district near Moscow. The Yakovlev Yak-18T, according to the disaster management ministry, was brought down due to engine failure, leading to a fire upon impact. Reports indicate the aircraft took off from Severka airfield. This event follows a similar tragedy last year where a Russian military transport plane crashed in the Belgorod region, resulting in numerous casualties.
