All airports in Nepal, including Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, have been shut down until Wednesday at noon amid widespread protests. Flights were grounded from Tuesday afternoon at 2 PM due to increasing instability, resulting in many travelers being stuck in Nepal. The reopening of the airports will be determined after an evaluation of the security conditions at Tribhuvan International Airport. The Nepali army has assumed control both inside and outside the airport premises. The safety situation of both planes and passengers remains precarious.
