Harjinder Singh, a 28-year-old truck driver of Indian origin, is at the center of a legal battle following a fatal accident on a Florida highway. The authorities report that Singh’s tractor-trailer was involved in a collision with a minivan after an illegal U-turn. Faced with the possibility of a lengthy prison sentence, Singh’s family has requested a lighter sentence, and the village community has rallied behind him, urging for compassion. Following the accident, Singh was found in California and subsequently returned to Florida.
