The abduction of a 15-year-old Hindu girl from her home in Sindh, Pakistan, has ignited fresh concerns about the safety of minorities. The family claims the girl was forcibly converted and has been missing since the incident. This follows the ongoing cases of missing Hindu girls, including Priya Kumari, who disappeared in 2021, and Chanda, who has been missing for 18 months. The family of Chanda has not received any information regarding her wellbeing and is in distress. Demonstrations have been held to protest the incidents and to urge authorities to take action. The police have been criticized for not including the main accused’s name in the FIR.
