A passenger train accident near Riedlingen, Germany, has claimed the lives of at least three individuals and left several others injured. The derailment occurred in the state of Baden-Wurttemberg, with around 100 passengers present on the train. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the site. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz conveyed his shock and pledged support for the rescue efforts. The cause of the derailment, which occurred in a forested area, is currently under investigation. The Interior Minister and Transport Minister are working to support rescue forces.
