Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar of Israel has begun a state visit to the United States. The visit will involve significant discussions with prominent figures within the US government. A meeting has been arranged with Secretary of State and National Security Advisor Marco Rubio, at the State Department in Washington on Wednesday. This will be a follow-up to their previous meeting held in February during the Secretary of State’s visit to Israel. Furthermore, Minister Sa’ar will meet with US Homeland Security Secretary Christie Noam. In May, Sa’ar hosted Noam in Israel following the murders of Yaron Lishansky and Sarah Lynn Milgram, who worked at the Israeli Embassy in Washington. During his trip, Sa’ar will also engage with the Conference of Presidents, AIPAC leaders, and will host a reception for Jewish community leaders and Christian friends of Israel.
