Bashar Thabet, a Hamas commander within the weapons production division, was killed by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Thabet was in charge of research and development within Hamas’ weapons manufacturing operations. The IDF destroyed terrorist infrastructure, removed terrorists, and took out tunnel shafts. The Israeli Air Force (IAF) conducted air strikes on around 75 targets linked to terrorism, including military facilities. Prior to this, Muhammad Uthayn, the commander of Hamas’ Daraj Tuffah Battalion, was also eliminated. Protests were held in Israel and outside the US Embassy in Tel Aviv calling on Donald Trump to help free the hostages held in Gaza. Trump mentioned that another group of hostages would be released soon.
