New Delhi. On one hand, Congress party leader Rahul Gandhi is on Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from the north-eastern tip of the country to the west, while on the other hand, Congress leaders are sitting in Delhi on the lewd and indecent comments being made on social media. The former President’s daughter has written a two-page open letter to Rahul Gandhi pleading for justice. We are talking about Sharmistha Mukherjee, daughter of former President of the country Pranab Mukherjee, who has written a two-page open letter to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on the social media platform X. Sharmistha has alleged that she is being continuously trolled on social media, not only this, abusive words are also being used for her father.

Sharmistha told that a social media user Naveen Shahi had used obscene language especially for her. Which is followed by many Congress leaders. She further wrote that Shahi used abusive and vulgar language towards her and her father and posted derogatory comments of sexual nature.

Sharmistha wrote that I am completely surprised. I, Jairam Ramesh and spokesperson Supriya Srinet and tagged you on X and brought this issue to your attention. But I think that till the time of writing this letter, I have neither received any response nor any action has been taken against that person.

Demanding justice as a woman
Addressing Rahul Gandhi, he has written that you are talking about justice. As a common citizen of India, I demand justice from you. This hateful behavior has come from a person who is associated with your organization in some way or the other. I demand justice as a woman whose father is being used with hateful words with sexual connotations.

Take action against social media chief also
Sharmistha did not stop here, she further wrote that to show that you are serious about justice, please blame your social media head, Samvad for allowing such language and abuses to Naveen Shahi and others who responded positively to his abuses. Take action against the chief. You prove that your promise of justice is not just an empty election slogan.

He posted several screenshots of Shahi and others’ comments on X. Congress national spokesperson Supriya Srinet has also been tagged in this. Sharmistha wrote, enough is enough. Jairam Ramesh sir, is this your answer to my questions. Why am I questioning the current ideology or work of Congress? Mr. Rahul Gandhi- These are your supporters.
