The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has expressed serious concerns over the rising tensions between Israel and Iran, following US strikes on Iranian nuclear sites. Director General Rafael Grossi urged all parties to return to the negotiating table, highlighting the essential role of diplomacy in preventing further conflict. He emphasized the need for IAEA inspectors to access and evaluate Iranian nuclear facilities, including verifying 400kg of 60% enriched uranium. Grossi cautioned that the non-proliferation regime is at stake, with potential for widespread destruction if diplomacy fails.
