Modi emphasized the significance of the two nations as major global economies and vibrant democracies, stating their partnership is crucial for both countries and global stability. He added that strong democracies are natural allies in creating a better world. The focus of this partnership will encompass investment, innovation, economic security, environmental protection, technological advancements, healthcare, mobility solutions, and cultural exchange. Japan intends to invest 10 trillion yen in India within the next decade, with an emphasis on connecting small and medium enterprises and startups of both countries.
