In response to the ongoing military actions in the region, the Indian government has issued safety advisories for its citizens in both Iran and Israel. The Indian Embassy in Iran has advised Indian nationals to exercise caution, avoid non-essential travel, and stay informed via the Embassy’s social media channels, following local safety guidelines. This comes after the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) launched ‘Operation Rising Lion,’ a targeted offensive against Iran’s nuclear program, as confirmed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who vowed to eliminate the threat. Likewise, the Indian Embassy in Israel has issued an advisory, urging Indian citizens to remain vigilant, adhere to the safety directives from Israeli authorities and the Home Front Command, and minimize travel. Delhi Airport is also experiencing disruptions, with flight schedules potentially affected due to airspace changes over Iran and neighboring areas; passengers are advised to check with their airlines for current flight information.
