Indian-Origin Man Jaydeep Patel Arrested for Child Pornography Possession and Exploitation

Authorities have apprehended Jaydeep Patel, a 31-year-old of Indian descent, who previously worked as a behavioral health technician at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Patel is accused of engaging in child pornography-related activities. Upon searching his devices, investigators found over 1200 images and videos depicting child pornography. The arrest was initiated after police received information from multiple social media users. Patel is charged with nine counts of sexually exploiting a minor. Chat logs recovered from Patel’s devices contained explicit requests for child sexual abuse materials. Phoenix Children’s Hospital confirmed that Patel had passed all required background checks and is no longer employed at the hospital. A judge has set a cash-only bond of $100,000 for his release.
