Indigo Aircraft Order Update: InterGlobe Aviation Limited i.e. Indigo has placed an order to buy 30 Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Through this, budget airline Indigo will enter the wide-body aircraft segment. Today i.e. on April 25, the company has given this information in its exchange filing.
The airline said that these aircraft are fitted with Rolls-Royce Trent These aircraft are fuel efficient.
Apart from the purchase of 30 aircraft, IndiGo has also signed the right to purchase 70 additional A350 aircraft. With the new aircraft the airline will be able to operate ultra-long haul flights. This will bring it into direct competition with Air India. .

Indigo shares gave returns of more than 28% this year
Indigo shares have given a return of 28.25% so far this year (YTD). Whereas, the stock has increased by 58.36% in the last 6 months. Today Indigo shares closed at Rs 3,820 with a gain of 2.08%.
