Four Baloch fighters lost their lives in a violent confrontation with a pro-government militia in Barkhan, Balochistan. The gun battle, which took place in the Koh-e-Jandar area of Rakni tehsil, lasted for several hours, with both sides employing heavy weaponry. The fallen fighters were identified as Mustafa Noor, Samiullah, Rasaan Qadir, and Shahzaib. Their remains were later transported to a Rakni hospital. The militia involved is widely viewed as a state-backed group. Pakistani authorities have yet to issue a statement on the incident. Simultaneously, heavy fighting erupted in the Spilinji area of Mastung district during a military operation. Reports indicated intense gunfire and explosions, with casualties on both sides. No Baloch armed group has yet claimed responsibility for the Spilinji clashes. These events underscore the ongoing instability and conflict in the region, where tensions between nationalist groups and state forces remain high.
