International Yoga Day 2024 : It is true that various types of creams, serums and masks help in keeping the skin healthy and glowing. But did you know that facial exercises can play an equally important role? With increasing age, the level of collagen and elastin in our skin naturally decreases. This leads to looseness and wrinkles in the skin.

Facial exercises help slow down these changes by strengthening these muscles and increasing blood flow. Today on International Yoga Day, we will tell you which are the 3 yogasanas that are good for your face.

Benefits of Facial Exercise (International Yoga Day 2024)

As we age, the facial muscles start weakening. This causes the skin to become loose and wrinkles to appear. Facial exercises help keep the skin tight by strengthening these muscles. Facial exercises promote blood flow in the face. This provides the skin with the necessary nutrients and oxygen, making the skin look healthy and glowing. Collagen is a protein that makes the skin flexible and strong. Facial exercises help increase collagen production, making wrinkles and fine lines less visible. Stress is a major cause of wrinkles on the face. Facial exercises help reduce facial stress and relax the muscles.
