Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, a key advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has expressed support for Iran’s participation in the Pakistan-Saudi Arabia defense pact. Safavi described the pact as a positive step and proposed that Iran, Iraq, and other nations should join. The advisor believes that Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq should collaborate to establish a strong regional presence and improve security cooperation.
