Srinagar. A major accident took place in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. A Border Security Force (BSF) bus fell into a ditch here. Three soldiers were martyred and many soldiers were injured in the accident.
According to the information, the bus carrying BSF jawans for election duty in the second phase was going to Budgam district when the bus fell into a ditch. Due to this, 3 jawans died and 32 jawans were injured. Out of these, the condition of 6 is said to be critical. The injured have been admitted to SDM Khan Sahib and Budgam hospital. It has been learned that the bus has met with an accident in the Brail Waterhole area in Budgam. Suddenly the bus slipped from the road and fell into the ditch.
Immediately after the accident, local people and police team reached the spot and the soldiers trapped in the bus were taken out. As soon as the information about the incident was received, senior officials also reached the spot. The reason for the accident is not known yet.
