Aboard Marine One, former President Donald Trump and former First Lady Melania Trump experienced a concerning incident when a mechanical issue necessitated an emergency landing. The helicopter, en route to Stansted Airport after Trump’s UK visit, experienced a hydraulic fault. For safety, the pilots landed at a nearby airfield. The Trumps then transferred to a secondary helicopter for the remainder of their journey. The incident was confirmed by the White House. During his UK visit, Trump held a press conference with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, where he spoke about his relationship with India’s Prime Minister Modi, highlighting their connection and shared birthday wishes. He also commented on the Russia-Ukraine war, expressing his disappointment in Putin and claiming the conflict would not have unfolded had he been president.
