Rakesh Ehagaban, a motel manager of Indian origin, was murdered in Pittsburgh. The incident unfolded when Ehagaban stepped outside to address an argument happening in the motel’s parking area. He was shot and died at the scene. Stanley Eugene West, 37, has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide, attempted homicide, and recklessly endangering another person. The event has raised concerns about a potential hate crime.
